#RedWednesday: Vibrant solidarity with victims of religiously motivated persecution

Thursday, November 30th, 2017

On Wedneday 21st November 2017 iconic buildings in the UK, including the Houses of Parliament, were lit up red in solidarity with people suffering for their faith around the world.

Lambeth Palace and at least 10 cathedrals across the UK were also illuminated, while a red London bus was emblazoned with '#RedWednesday.'

The campaign - organised by Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) and Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) – aimed to honour those who have suffered and died because of their faith, and to stand in solidarity with millions of people targeted for their beliefs.

Please pray for all those around the world suffering simply because of their faith or belief, including many in Iran.

Please pray for the impact of this initiative, and for increased action to combat religiously motivated persecution.
