We have been greatly encouraged by the testimonies of changed lives through the ministries of Elam graduates.
With the continued success of our three-month intensive leadership training programme, more Elam graduates than ever are serving in the Iran region. One graduate was commissioned in September 2005 to serve in an Iranian Church. The fellowship was in disarray because they had no trained leader. A month later we received an email from the graduate sharing the progress of his ministry...
"During this week the presence of the Lord was with us. Through the help of the Spirit of God our communication has been effective. From the first day we started morning devotions and we had a youth meeting on Friday. Through the kindness of Christ, we are also establishing prayer meetings and cell groups that meet somewhere virtually every day of the week".
Later that year, this graduate led an influential Persian speaker to the Lord. He was baptized in December. Through him many others came to the church and earlier this year, the graduate wrote once more...
"By the grace of God, we are well and had a week full of blessings... On Sunday, another six repented".
The latest news is that 13 others are also being taught the Gospel by the graduate and all are interested in the Christian message.
