2005 has been a very busy year for Elam's resources centre. With a month of the year still remaining over 36,000 Christian books and AV titles have been sent to Iranian believers and seekers.In addition 50,000 copies of Elam's acclaimed pocket sized Millennium New Testaments were printed and distributed mostly to people living in the East.
Theneed for scripture within the Iran region is accute, and theopenness of the people provides us with a good window of opportunity to share the Gospel.Good progress has also been made this year on the translation of the Old Testament. With 92% in its first draft, it is hoped that we will be able to provide the whole of the Bible in a more modern Farsi translation in the next few years.
