PART 3 - The Love Of Christ In Action - My First Mission Trip
As part of our studies at Elam College we get sent away on extended periods of outreach to put into practise skills learnt in the classroom and to help prepare us for future service. In August 2004 I was sent to a country in the Iran region for outreach amongst Iranians, it was a great experience!
My time was split between ministry and encouraging the believers in three large cities; most of the Iranians living there were asylum seekers, mostly living a very meagre existence (there are no state benefits here!), which causes its own specific problems.
