PART 4 - Outreach to Iranians in Denmark
The following spring another Elam student and I had the opportunity to work alongside the International Church in Copenhagen who were struggling to reach out and minister to Iranians in their city. During our stay we would evangelise to Iranians in their local stores, schools and gathering places, and soon we saw the need for a weekly meeting which we held on Fridays.
Over subsequent weeks through advertising posters and much prayer and sharing the Lord increased our numbers to 16, we saw many changes in these Iranian seekers and two brothers gave their lives to Christ and began attending the church on Sunday. Just before we left we even met an Iranian Christian woman who was willing to translate for these new believers.
I found this experience tremendously encouraging and just wanted to share what the Lord was doing with other churches to try and inspire them to reach out to Muslims around them.
