Iranian Martyrs

Remembering Their Sacrifice

From 1980 until the present several Christian ministers have given their lives for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Some mysteriously disappeared while others were murdered in cold blood.  The Church in Iran stands strong on the shoulders of the testimonies of these great men who gave their lives for the sake of Christ.

Mehdi Dibaj's Final Testament

After spending nine years in an Iranian prison on the charge of apostasy, he was eventually tried before the Islamic courts in December 1993.  After giving this courageous defence, Mehdi Dibaj was found guilty and sentenced to death.  The court verdict reads: "... at the age of 19 he has chosen the religion of Christianity... because of his non-repentance and his insistence on his non-Islamic belief... he is sentenced to execution."
