In 2005 Kalameh.com, Elam's Persian Christian website had more than 100,000 unique visitors who read over 600,000 pages of online resources designed exclusively to help the Persian speaking Christian and seeker. The website provides high quality Christian material in Persian which is proving very effective -month on month we are seeing increases in the numbers of Iranians logging on and sending us feedback as to how they have been blessed.

We received an email from an isolated believer somewhere in the desert region of Iran, where Kalameh.com was her only lifeline...

“I live in a remote city in Iran. I’m from a Muslim background and have spent 25 years of my life in ignorance. It’s been one year since I came to know the Lord Jesus…. I have printed the whole NT from your website because I am living in a remote part of the country which doesn’t’ have enough facilities. There is no church to go to in this city, nor is there a fellow believer for fellowship. My only hope is in the Gospel and the Lord Jesus. You are the only connection I have to get to know the Lord better. I plead to you for help. I know that you love God’s people, therefore I want you to tell me where to start and what to do in order not to stumble and fall. I want to know more about Christian teachings. I’m like a young tree which needs nourishment. I need your help otherwise I can’t find proper answers to my questions in this remote town.”

We received another excellent testimony from a reader in Iran. He wrote,

I am a Muslim man and I live in Iran. A short while ago I visited the Kalameh web-site and read an article which I didn’t agree with, so I wanted to write another article and get it published to counter the one in Kalameh. I wasn’t able to do this and I had a strange feeling – I felt that even though I had many questions about Christianity in my head – I still understood the message in my heart. So I decided to read the New Testament and to try and find answers to my questiones. Now I am very confused and I need help.

This was this gentleman’s first e mail. We then later received this e mail –

In the middle of December I gave my heart to Jesus Christ. With all the questions I had – I wanted to give my life to Christ. And what is more, my wife, a few nights ago had a dream about Jesus Christ and she told me that we should not stick to our past, but we should give our hearts to Jesus Christ. I have a good feeling in my heart, so if it is possible please introduce me to other brothers so I can ask them more questions...
