Mission to Iran: It's about visionaries

Dear Friends,

Billy Graham was told nobody would listen to him in England – he packed out Wembley Stadium; Brother Andrew was told China was closed – he poured in over a million Bibles. The heroes of mission are people who saw beyond the walls of opposition, lack of money and manpower - to the God of miracles and what He wanted to do. It can be the same today for Iran.

Funds and resources are needed; research and strategies are important; but nothing can replace courageous visionaries, men and women who see over a landscape which today appears closed to a tomorrow where a strong vibrant growing Iranian church blesses millions.

Visionaries are people who expect growth, radical discipleship, and cultures to change as people come to Christ. They speak out against a church ready to settle for a comfortable, lukewarm existence. Visionaries shake things up. They do not fight the darkness, they let in the light. They are not concerned with what the enemy can do to them, but are excited about what God can do for everyone.

We want this magazine to inspire vision for Iran as we share what God is doing in the nation and through the work of Elam Ministries. As you read we would ask you to pray and allow the Lord to show you how you can be a part of mission to Iran.
