Hundreds of Iranians from across the country came to Sheffield to hear Dr Mehrdad Fatehi give his acclaimed one day teaching on 'The Trinity'.
The whole day was given to looking at the doctrine of the Trinity, a much neglected subject which is hugely important for all Christians. It is especially significant for those who have grown up in a Muslim culture, as they have constantly heard that Christians worship three gods. The Trinity is probably the number one theological issue they want to understand more clearly.
There was no cold theory in Dr Fatehi's preaching, but a deep and passionate concern for people to understand that God truly is One in Three Persons.
After speaking, Dr Fatehi provided an opportunity for people to receive ministry and many Iranians came forward for prayer and to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Many delegates leaving the conference gave testimonies of how they had been given insight and now felt better equipped to deal with the questions of family and friends with regard to this complicated topic.
