How Agnostic Ali found Jesus in Mashad, Iran

Thursday, November 20th, 2014

Disappointed by all the violence and corruption blasting across the media in the name of religion, Ali – from a devout city in Iran – had become an agnostic. A Christian friend then sent him a link to a worship song over the Internet. Out of curiosity he listened. And something strange happened. When he heard the name of Jesus in the worship song, his heart shook. Every time. These songs were not ordinary. This Jesus was not ordinary.

Ali contacted his Christian friend who sent him an Elam New Testament, and told him about an Internet church. Ali started reading the New Testament and the questions came bubbling up. So he visited the Internet church. The Elam pastor of the church answered all the questions – and then asked Ali a question: ‘Do you want to ask Jesus Christ into your life to be your Lord and Saviour?’ Ali said, ‘Yes’ and the two men prayed. Ali is no longer an agnostic.

Ali was able to receive a New Testament and find the Internet church because of those who support mission to Iran.

Pray for

  •  Ali to become a vibrant witness
  • Continued flooding of Iran with the New Testaments
  • For growing ministry of Internet churches
