Nuclear issue, signs of a breakthrough?

Monday, December 20th, 2010

Reports are appearing that Turkey is brokering a deal whereby Iran will send its 20% enriched uranium to a safe location, and Russia and France will supply ready made fuel rods needed for domestic energy. There is also talk of sanctions against Iran being dropped. If these reports are true and all parties are in agreement, this could signal the end to the looming crisis of the impact of Iran’s nuclear ambitions. The official talks about the problem held in Geneva last week between Iran and the West ended with an agreement to talk again. If these new reports are true, there will soon be a lot to talk about, and all involved deserve our prayers.

Pray for

  • A successful outcome to Turkey’s initiative
  • Wisdom for diplomats
  • For fears of all countries to be assuaged.
