"I have never seen love like this," said Iranian social media influencer Ahmad Moinshirazi recently in a reel shared with his 600,000+ followers.

Ahmad - a retired Iranian pro-kickboxer in exile - was talking about his experience of visiting an Iranian church in the region and seeing them pray passionately for the current unrest across Iran.

In the video, he explained that in all the religious settings he had ever visited, he had never before been received with such kindness. He was astonished that the church prayed for everyone, including the ruling regime of Iran who are currently brutally suppressing protests.

Christians inside the country are also interceding fervently and showing remarkable courage and kindness as they proclaim Christ. Some have opened their homes to injured or distressed protesters. Others have offered to pray for local government officials who are starting to fear for their lives.

As Christians respond with courageous kindness to the situation in Iran, curiosity about Jesus increases. At least 20 people have turned to Jesus mid-protest as Christians have witnessed on the streets. Many others have come to Christ through receiving the New Testament.

We trust that as the Iranian church continues to seek to respond with Christ-likeness, God will be glorified and the church will continue to grow.
