When security forces fired on protesters during a demonstration in late 2022, 15-year-old Behnam was among the wounded. Afraid to seek help at the hospital for fear of being arrested, Behnam had nowhere to turn for help.

A group of Iranian Christians found Behnam nursing his wounds and carried him back to one of their homes. They quickly summoned a Christian doctor who removed multiple bullets and patched up Behnam. The boy then remained with them for many days while he recovered.

The boy and his grateful parents were curious: "Who are you, that you love us like this?" So the believers shared the Gospel with the family. On the fifth day of his recovery, Behnam gave his heart to Christ. A while later, Behnam's mother and sister also came to the Lord.

Please pray for Behnam, his mother and sister as they begin their walk with Jesus. Pray for many others to come to know Jesus as they experience the loving care of Christians at this difficult time.
