Over the Christmas holiday everyone phones everyone. It’s the time when Iranian Christians can more easily share the Gospel with their families, just with a short sentence about the true meaning of the baby in the stable. It is also a time when – both inside and outside the country – visitors come to the church. Many Iranians are genuinely pleased Christians have such a happy festival. They have nothing comparable in their religion and are curious to find out more. So they come to meetings. The Gospel is preached; DVD’s and books are given as presents. Christmas is the time for proclamation. Now is the time to pray for God to water all the seed that has been sown. Now is also the time when many churches and agencies plan for the year ahead. There is always too much to do. They need wisdom.
