A year ago we told you about our new discipleship programme called ‘Safar,’ which means ‘Journey’ in Persian.   I'm excited to tell you that it's having an impact right across Iran. New believers are discipled 1-to-1 and then those new believers go on to disciple others.   Recently, I was speaking to Parvaneh and her husband, Mohsen, who are discipling many people across Iran. Parvaneh was discipling a young woman called Tina through Safar. Parvaneh sent Tina her first copy of the Bible. The Bible happened to arrive the night before Tina’s birthday.   Tina was so thrilled and said, "God has given me the best birthday gift ever!"   On her birthday, three friends came to visit her, and Tina showed them the Bible. That day she led them to Christ. Those three are now also being discipled.   I want to ask you to pray that this programme will continue to spread; that Safar will continue to grow; and that thousands and thousands will be discipled, will follow Christ and will win others for him.
