We often take it for granted that here in the West we can safely and easily access great Christian books and content whenever we want.

Believers in Iran haven't had that same privilege. Until now.

Last month we launched a strategic new resource for the Iranian church: our Kalameh app.

Already downloaded by more than 10,000 users in Iran and beyond, right now this beautifully designed app is getting quality Christian books and resources into the hands of Persian-speaking believers in a safe and secure way.

"This app has helped our group to get access to Christian books that were not available to us before," said one fellowship leader recently.

"Kalameh" means "Word" in Persian. We are delighted that many in Iran, Afghanistan, and around the world are already going deeper into God's Word through the growing library of ebooks they can freely access on the Kalameh app.

“I always used to check Instagram,” laughed one new app-user in the Iran region. “Now I’m reading Christian books on my phone instead.”

Along with books, the app is making our Weekly Fellowship resource available to more people than ever. Weekly Fellowship provides a structured meeting outline so that small groups of Christians are guided as they gather for fruitful fellowship.  

Our dream is that every believer in Iran would have the chance for in-person fellowship, which is why we are so excited that hundreds of people are already using Weekly Fellowship through the Kalameh app.
