12 new students have recently started Elam’s residential three-month course in church planting, leadership and evangelism. The group, studying in the Iran region, includes: M - who has known great suffering in her past but is now a bold evangelist; A&N - their mentors describe them as having 'courageous, warrior hearts'; R - who has a deep and abounding love for people; V&S - a couple who are studying while also caring for their young baby. The three-month course is Elam’s core program for training emerging leaders to become church planters in the Iran region. On completion of the course, students receive ongoing advanced training and mentorship from the Elam team.  Please pray for the 12 students to grow in the '5Cs' of Christian leadership: Christ: that they would grow in their knowledge and love of the Lord; Community: that they would learn how to serve alongside other believers with joy and in unity; Character: that they would all grow in Christ-likeness during the course; Calling: that they would discover more about God’s call on their lives; Competencies: that they would develop ministry skills, ready for a life of serving God’s people.  Pray also for wisdom, joy, and unity among the team of mentors, teachers, administrators, cooks and child-care providers, who enable the course to happen.
