Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence has admitted to arresting more than 50 Christians since the end of the war with Israel in June. Many of them remain detained. The Christians are accused of involvement in “anti-security” activities. 

These arrests are part of a wider crackdown on groups the government claims took part in anti-regime activities during the conflict. Among those targeted are Baha’is (a religious minority group), Kurds, Baluchis, monarchists, and journalists—all communities that have faced oppression by the authorities for many years.
