When Behrooz, a young Muslim in Tehran, flagged down a passing car for a lift one morning, he couldn’t have imagined what was in store for him. Hamid, a house-church Christian going through an Elam discipleship program, had been praying for an opportunity like this one to share his faith and he gladly offered Behrooz a ride. As Hamid and Behrooz set off into the city center, Behrooz was captured by the beautiful music playing in the car. “What are we listening to?” Behrooz asked. “This is a worship song to Jesus,” Hamid replied simply. “I’m a follower of Christ.” Surprised, Behrooz sat back to listen more carefully. “Your God sounds like a God of peace and love,” Behrooz reflected eventually. “Our God isn’t like that.” For the rest of the journey, Hamid shared with Behrooz the message of the Gospel, while the worship music from Elam’s Time For Worship program continued to play.  Would you pray with us: For Behrooz to come to faith in Jesus For Hamid to continue to share his faith boldly For the Time for Worship team as they faithfully produce this program
