“My husband has come home changed. Thank you!” reported a number of the wives of the 300+ Iranian Christian men who attended recent day-long men’s conferences.   A key area of teaching at the conferences was on the man’s role within the family. Many of the men admitted to not knowing how to love their wives well. Some confessed to mistreatment or even abuse. The teachers explained from the Bible that husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loves the church. The men were encouraged to discover the ‘love languages’ of their wives and children so they could love them well.   Praise God, there was profound repentance, and a deep commitment in many of the men to go home and prioritize loving and serving their wives.    Please pray for strong, loving and God-honoring marriages throughout the Iranian church.
