Amir Javadzadeh who hosts Elam’s popular programme ‘Healing For The Broken Hearted’ with his wife Connie, has been struck down with a very serious back problem. He has been in intense pain, and at one point was only getting through the day on morphine. After several days of investigations in the hospital and at the clinic the diagnosis was arthritis in the spine which means the disk touches the nerve. For several weeks now Amir has been virtually bed bound. But for a while he still answered the calls from viewers, some of them coming very late at night. Not all the calls are pleasant, which at least proves the programme is not preaching to the choir, but many are. From his sick bed, Amir had long conversations with a young Afghan man. He has not yet made a commitment, but is certainly nearer because of Amir’s sacrificial counselling. Pray for: •Full restoration of Amir •Stamina for Connie •Salvation for young Afghan man
