Farshid Fathi is an Iranian believer who knows from experience that our prayers make a difference for those who are facing persecution. He is a trained leader who planted many churches inside Iran before being arrested for his ministry in 2010. He spent five years in prison for his faith in Jesus.

Like many who are in prison now, he experienced the power of prayer during that dark time:

I was in cell number 73. I was sitting, I wasn’t praying, but I was absolutely sure a group of people were praying for me at that time. That’s why I had the experience of hearing a melody in my soul. I stood up, overwhelmed by joy and peace, and I started dancing in my cell.

I want to appreciate you—you really prayed like that for me—and I cannot find any words to say thank you. As you prayed for me, now please pray for t hose who are suffering in prison in Iran.

Will you pray for them?

November 1st is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Will you pray with us for those in Iran who suffer in the name of Jesus?

Thank you for praying for these bold believers. As their faith strengthens us, our prayers strengthen them.
